MK Foundation donated a modern ambulance to the emergency medicine center in Kherson
Private charity MK Foundation, with the assistance of Olena Zelenska Foundation, handed over a new ambulance based on the Volkswagen Crafter, equipped with all the necessary medical equipment, to the Regional Territorial Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine of the Kherson region.
The vehicle is a certified special vehicle in Ukraine and contains everything necessary for providing first aid, including several types of stretchers, a defibrillator-monitor, a piston-type infusion device, an electrocardiograph, a ventilator, and other specialized medical equipment.

As reported by Inessa Chamlay, deputy director of the center that received the ambulance, on the very first day the car evacuated an injured patient from the right-bank region, 100 km from Kherson.
“The equipment of the ambulance allows for high-quality and quick treatment, resuscitation and diagnostic measures when transporting a patient to the hospital. A comfortable modern car moves “gently” and very easily. This is not only very convenient, but also, first of all, safe for patients and staff. Modern stretchers are adapted so that during the transportation of a patient, all the necessary medical equipment can be attached to it, including a ventilator or an oxygen cylinder, which is extremely necessary when delivering a patient from a car directly to the intensive care unit. from all sides, well heated and equipped with high-quality lighting,” she noted.
The charity not only fully equipped the ambulance and prepared it for operation in harsh winter conditions, but also took on the registration of the vehicle and all issues with documents and registration of the car, which significantly simplified its registration on the spot.
This is the eighth ambulance that MK Foundation prepared and handed over at the request of Ukrainian doctors, but the first in cooperation with the Olena Zelenska Foundation. Previously, the foundation had already handed over ambulances to doctors in Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Luhansk and Odesa regions.
In addition to medical transport, the fund also systematically supplies vehicles to the front lines, generators to deoccupied territories, as well as other special vehicles, including fire engines.
