🌡️ Temperature. The satellite weather map of Ukraine by default shows the ambient temperature in thermal imager mode. Depending on the color of a certain area of ​​the map, you can observe the temperature distribution on the surface under study. The thermogram is displayed on the map in the corresponding color in the spectrum from the coldest to the warmest temperatures (violet-yellow-orange-red). Along with the thermography, a layer of wind direction and speed is reproduced. The movement of wind flows shows all the processes of air currents in the circulation of the atmosphere. At the bottom, an information board with current weather data in the selected settlement is displayed, first the capital of Ukraine - the city of Kyiv is fixed (you can choose another city or village, as well as find any other place and put a dot on the map in the desired region). The table shows the measurements of weather conditions as of now, with a step of registering the results for the last hour. Special pictures in the weather table row (clear sun, cloud, rain cloud, thunder cloud, sun in haze, cloudiness, cloud with snow, moon phases, etc.) remind you of the state of the sky. Then, in turn, the following rows follow: temperature — in degrees Celsius (°C), rain "precipitation" — in millimeters (mm), wind and wind gusts — in kilometers per hour (km/h), wind direction — an arrow shows the exact course of the winds (south wind, north wind, east wind, west wind and many other variations, for example, southeast wind, northwest wind, etc.). There is an option to switch to alternative units of display of indicators (degrees Celsius - °C, degrees Fahrenheit - °F), (millimeters - mm, inches - in), (kilometers per hour - km/h, knots - kt, Beaufort points - bft, meters per second - m/s, miles per hour - mph). To switch, you just need to click on the required parameter, and the measurement value will change. The accurate satellite weather forecast in the table is available for viewing for today + 5 (five) days, in fact, the weather forecast provides the opportunity to get the most important information about what the weather will be like in Ukraine for the coming week. By scrolling (moving) the days of the week (calendar) to the left with the cursor/touchpad, a window will appear at the end of the list with information about this predicted location and additional data (exact geographical coordinates - latitude and longitude, time zone of the region, exact time of dawn "sunrise") and sunset "sunset", twilight "darkness", altitude of the area above sea level in meters-m and feet-ft). If you move the dial with the clock to the right, you can see how the weather in Ukraine will change on a map with graphic thermal visualization. This function allows you to clearly demonstrate changes in the weather in Ukraine for a selected time (hourly) segment or for a longer period by calendar days of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

🛰️ Satellite. In this real-time observation mode, you can watch an online broadcast of the current cloudiness over Ukraine from geostationary satellites directly from space. The initial satellite layer BLUE (by default) is set on the home screen. This blue spectrum works in a range of specially added colors to make it easier and clearer for users to consider the situation in the atmosphere, without getting confused within the borders of countries, seas, rivers and lakes, which can merge together if you see the satellite image in its original quality. If you switch to the VISIBLE layer (see the lower buttons BLUE, VIS, INF), an image of the visible spectrum will appear, that is, everything will look "as is" directly from the satellite camera. By pressing the ▶️Play button, you can watch a real video, download the latest recording from the satellite, which shows the movements of clouds over the past 2 hours. The third layer of the INFRA+ satellite broadcasts the bright temperature that formed at the tops of the clouds in Kelvins (K). This temperature gives an idea of ​​the height of the cloud tops and warns of the risk of severe thunderstorms. High cloud tops usually create thunderstorms and other similar severe convective weather. This layer with infrared radiation gives an idea that the colder the temperature, the higher the cloud, so it could potentially be a cumulonimbus type of cloud associated with thunderstorms, but cirrus clouds are also high and cold clouds and are not at all associated with thunderstorms. Before making final conclusions in the weather forecast, it is necessary to check other parameters, for example, turn on the visible channel VISIBLE to see if there is a thick cloud or not. If not, then in the infrared range such clouds are probably cirrus clouds.

💧 Rain, ⚡ thunderstorm. The rain and thunderstorm forecast map of Ukraine is a very important and useful layer for compiling a much more accurate weather forecast, planning any business, recreation, trips or future trips. On the gray background of the map of Ukraine, colored spots indicate locations where it is currently raining, hailing, a thunderstorm (storm warning with lightning), thunder is thundering, snow is falling heavily or there is a blizzard (strong wind with snow in the steppe regions, sometimes also called a buran). In parallel with the rain-thunderstorm layer, an animation of winds is displayed. Precipitation distribution zones can vary in color from blue to purple, depending on the amount of precipitation falling, which is measured in millimeters (mm). A light rain or heavy downpour looks simply like an ordinary colored spot covering an area. If, when viewing a certain area, additional warning signs are marked on a colored background, for example, small pictures depicting lightning, snowflakes, droplets - this means that in this particular place of the atmosphere there is an accumulation of rain or snow over the past 3 hours. Dimly illuminated lightning signs in a reduced form report a minor thunderstorm, while brighter, enlarged and shiny lightning icons indicate a severe thunderstorm of high intensity. Other precipitation is characterized in the same way, for example, heavy snowfall - snowflakes become slightly brighter and larger. There are cases when mixed precipitation is observed, it can be wet snow, which sometimes falls in the form of particles of melting snow, classified as, rain with snow or snow with rain. Such precipitation is depicted immediately by two icons of snowflakes and droplets adjacently. In some situations, a mixed type and size of snowflakes is observed, when small snow symbols are indicated next to large ones. This means that there is heavy and light snow at the same time. Launching the ▶️Play button will scroll the forecast for precipitation, rain, thunderstorms and snowfall for 7 days ahead and help create the most accurate detailed forecast for the week about the movement of rain (thunderstorm) clouds across the territory of Ukraine.

🌪️ Wind. The Wind Map of Ukraine transmits online fresh data on wind speed and direction in all cities, villages and regions. The map reproduces real wind traffic in a dynamic projection, which can help predict the trend of weather phenomena related to wind in the area being studied. The concentration and strength of the wind are calculated on supercomputers, which produce animated flows of wind activity on an interactive map. The wind map clearly demonstrates the speed rhythm and direction of air currents with all kinds of vortices that potentially affect cyclones and anticyclones that arise in the troposphere. Using this information will definitely help to create an overall picture of future atmospheric processes and weather forecasting. The wind (wind) map with a color scheme for transmitting the speed of air currents practically in live broadcast reveals areas with stronger or weaker winds in standard units of measurement, kilometers per hour - km/h, in different colors. 🌩️ Weather radar (weather radar). The weather radar map of Ukraine works on dBZ technology, using special meteorological Doppler devices that constantly monitor and measure precipitation (rain, snow) in the atmosphere. The dBZ weather radar indicates in decibels the assessment of the reflection of a meteorological object and the intensity of precipitation for a specific study area. The dBZ radar helps to collect signals about rain, snow or hail, and also scans the accumulation of water in clouds, predicts the so-called "cloud water content". ⚠️ CO concentration. Map of CO (carbon monoxide, carbon monoxide, carbon monoxide) levels in Kyiv and Ukraine. Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas that is slightly less dense than air. The concentration of CO in the troposphere is measured in a system called Parts Per Billion by Volume (PPBV). Increased CO concentrations can result in forest fires, smog, and other air pollution events.

💨 Mass of dust. The map shows the level of dust in the air in Ukraine. Dust is usually made up of particles in the atmosphere that come from various sources, such as soil, deserts, wind-blown dust, volcanic eruptions, and air pollution. The level of dust concentration is indicated in micrograms (one millionth of a gram) per cubic meter of air, or μg/m3. Dust concentration zones in Ukraine are shown on the map from gray to dark brown.

☣️ NO₂. Map of the distribution of toxic gas NO₂ - nitric oxide in Ukraine. NO₂ (nitrogen dioxide, nitrogen dioxide) is a gas that causes breathing problems associated with decreased lung function. The largest sources of NO2 are internal combustion engines, thermal power plants (source: Wikipedia). NO₂ levels are expressed in μg/m³, and the forecasts presented on the map correspond to ground-level values. According to WHO and the EU, the hourly average MPC (limit permissible concentration) of NO₂ in the air for 60 minutes (1 hour) is set at 200 μg/m3, but should not be exceeded for more than 18 hours per year. The indicators planned to be implemented in the EU by January 1, 2030 are 200 μg/m3, but this level cannot be exceeded more than once a year. This indicator is compiled taking into account the forecast of the regional multi-model complex CAMS EU. Due to the horizontal resolution of the systems used by CAMS, it is not possible to visualize local effects due to the close proximity of sources, for example, a busy road or an industrial plant. The NO₂ forecasts correspond to so-called “background” values. Different countries have different rules regarding warning levels and emergency notifications of air pollution levels.

⏲️ Pressure. Atmospheric pressure map in Kyiv and throughout Ukraine. Online barometer allows you to find out the current pressure in any city, village or region of Ukraine. Attention! Mean sea level pressure (MSLP) is the average atmospheric pressure.

🔔 Weather notifications (weather warnings). Map of important weather warnings in Ukraine and other European countries. Weather warnings can be of three types: moderate weather (yellow), severe weather (orange color), extreme weather (red). If the weather is currently or will be within normal limits, the region of the country simply appears in plain gray, with no additional markings.
