The area of Vinnytsia region is 26 thousand km², which is 492% of the area of the sovereign and independent state 🇺🇦 Ukraine, and ranks 4,39th among other Ukrainian regions in terms of territory. Vinnytsia region borders on Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, Odessa regions of Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova. The regional center is the city Vinnytsia. Large cities and towns in Vinnytsia region: Bershad, Zhmerynka, Hnivan, Mohyliv-Podilskyi, Nemyriv, Khmilnyk, Illintsi, Haisyn, Yampil, Kozyatyn, Pogrebyshe, Ladyzhyn, Stryzhavka, Kalynivka, Kryzhopil, Bar, Lypovets, Tulchyn.
